Described as one of two "in between" tracks, 'Watermelon' is a beautifully pared-back new piece from Tiberius b. Placing focus almost entirely on their vocals and an accompanying guitar, 'Watermelon' progresses naturally, slowing building momentum with the inclusion of striking layered vocals and supporting acoustic drums. Giving credit to their "generous collaborator" John DeBold for not letting 'Watermelon' (and its counterpart 'Lizard') "slip through the cracks", we're equally grateful for his diligence as we lose ourselves in its tenderness. Having released their debut album NEVERYTHING is summer of this year, it's comforting to know there's more coming from Tiberius b now and in the not too distant future. -Holly Mullineaux
